Talent first. Everything else follows.
Every profile is an independent working professional who sets their own rates and publishes their own skills. Ratings come only from hosts who completed and paid for an event. No packages to decode. You book the person.
Bay Area talent is coming online.
bartendersNow™ is new in the Bay Area. Every bartender here is an independent professional who passes government-ID identity verification through Stripe Identity before they can accept events — new profiles appear as they join.
Before you book anyone
See what to buy before you buy it.
The Stock List turns your guest count, service hours, and drink menu into an ingredient-level shopping list, plus a recommended bartender count — like the one on the right. It’s free, and you don’t need an account.

How a booking gets built
The details are line items, not assumptions.
Setup, breakdown, prep time, and equipment are all planned into the booking before your bartender arrives. You decide what you need and see what each piece costs.

Bar kits, if you need one
Equipment as an add-on
Bartenders who bring their own setup list it on their profile: portable bar, coolers, ice bucket, dump bucket, trash and recycle bins. Add it to the booking, or skip it if your venue already has one.

Setup and breakdown are booked time
They arrive early and stay to clean up
Setup and cleanup hours are booked and paid as part of the engagement, not squeezed in for free. Your bartender's on-site window is agreed before the event, not negotiated at the door.

Prep planned by menu
Lead time that matches the drinks
The app suggests how early your bartender should arrive based on what you're serving. A batched, ready-to-drink bar needs less lead time than a made-to-order cocktail menu, and you see the suggested arrival time before you confirm.
How it works
Create → Choose → Serve.

Create your event
Enter your date, location, guest count, and what you’re pouring. bartendersNow™ recommends how many bartenders your event needs before you look at a single profile.
Choose your bartender
Two ways to fill the job. Browse local professionals and send a request to the one you want, or post your event and accept a bartender who requests to work it. Either way, both sides agree before anything is booked.
Serve the party
Your card is saved when you book, not charged up front. Events more than 48 hours out are charged 48 hours before your bartender arrives, so you can adjust services or guest count up until then. Short-notice bookings are charged when you confirm. Cancellations are refunded on a sliding scale that depends on how far ahead you cancel — see our cancellation policy.

Trust, specifically
Here is exactly what we check.
Trust claims are easy to make and hard to keep. So here is the real list: what the platform verifies, what bartenders publish themselves, and where the line sits between the two.
- Every bartender must pass government-ID identity verification through Stripe Identity before they can request or accept events.
- Ratings and reviews come only from hosts whose event was completed and paid.
- Rates, skills, languages, and certifications are published by each bartender on their own profile, and you see them before you send a request.
We do not conduct background checks. Profile photos are uploaded by the bartender and are not checked against their ID.
